the Gascón-Baldus practice offers a specialised consultation for allergology and pulmonology. We are happy to clarify cases of cough, suspected asthma as well as other lung diseases and allergies. If you wish, we also perform individual procedures. Options include, for example, a nasal provocation with house dust mite before specific immunotherapy, a body plethysmography for the “big check-up” twice a year, a methacholine challenge, a food challenge, or an MMR vaccination in egg allergy. We do not interfere with your treatment concept!

As a referring physician you may expect from us a quick appointment, professional counselling of the patient, easy communication and a prompt report.

We are also available for questions concerning the care of former premature infants.

Pediatric gastroenterology, like oncology, is a very demanding subspecialty involving a great deal of medical equipment, interdisciplinary treatment, considerable time, day-clinic treatment, inpatient treatment and examinations under anaesthesia. For this reason we offer these services only on a small scale for our own patients. Clarification of GORD, failure to thrive, suspected coeliac disease, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, cystic fibrosis, chronic inflammatory bowel disease etc. must unfortunately still be referred to a hospital.

For colleagues who would like to discuss a case by telephone, we are gladly and promptly available. We also look forward to a visit with a thick patient file. We provide the coffee. This is a genuinely meant “service” that one rarely gets offered in a hospital. And of course we would be glad to be allowed to call you when we have questions in other areas.

The continuing-education sessions within the quality circle continue to take place on our premises. The requirements for CME credits are met. We have arranged a projector.
